Royal Visit for Durham’s 600 Years

HRH Sophie Countess of Wessex visited The Chorister School, Durham last week to help mark the school’s 600th anniversary.

She visited an art class, where pupils were creating delicate, brightly-coloured glass leaves to adorn a commemorative tree, built especially for the anniversary. Every pupil will make a leaf, and the Countess also made one to add to the display.
