Edith Cavell Remembered

It will be 100 years on 12 October since Edith Cavell was executed in Belgium. She is being commemorated at Norwich Cathedral and in her home county of Norfolk this month. You still have time to hear BBC Choral Evensong broadcast from the Cathedral on 7 October. Sunday Worship (BBC Radio 4) will come from Norwich too – it’s at 8.10am.

A commissioned exhibition of 14 paintings by Brian Whelan on ‘The Passion of Edith Cavell: The Way of the Cross” is on display at the Cathedral until Thursday, 22 October.
