Exeter Chorister is 2016 ‘Composer’

12 year-old Theo Collins, a pupil at Exeter Cathedral School and a chorister at the Cathedral, is the 2016 winner of CSA’s David Willcocks Composition Competition for choristers. Theo and his parents enjoyed a trip to Portsmouth to hear his introit ‘Sing a New Song’ performed for the first time by Portsmouth Cathedral Choir at Evensong during CSA’s Annual Conference. He is pictured below with ECS Headmaster, James Featherstone(left), and competition adjudicator Jonathan Willcocks, who presented him with the Friends of Cathedral Music (FCM) salver and a signed certificate.
