Jubilate 500 Launch This Week!

Jubilate – 500 years of cathedral music is set for release this Friday (17 March) and you can pre-order NOW if you haven’t already done so, by going to https://decca.lnk.to/stpaulsID to choose your method of delivery.

Classic FM and Decca have collaborated with St Paul’s Cathedral Choir, Aled Jones and The Cathedral Choristers of Britain to bring you a great selection of favourites, conducted by Andrew Carwood. This follows the wonderful concert last April which brought together choristers from all over the country in St Paul’s Cathedral.

The concert launched the Friends of Cathedral Music’s Diamond Fund for Choristers to raise money to help support cathedral choristerships. The Diamond Fund, so called to mark FCM’s 60th anniversary in 2016, has attracted the support of a number of well-known patrons, including many who themselves are former choristers, such as Aled and Alexander Armstrong.

Since its foundation in 1956, FCM has raised and given out in the region of £4m in support of music in our cathedrals, collegiate chapels and major churches.
