We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2023 David Willcocks CSA Chorister Composition Competition, Imogen Walker from Emmanuel College, Cambridge and Nora Rechel from Norwich Cathedral Girls’ Choir.

Wells Cathedral Primary Outreach Program had an exciting start to the New Year, with four new schools schools coming together to perform a “From Page to Stage” concert in celebration of World Book Day.
“Utterly Captivating” Ceremony of Carols
The Choristers of Wells Cathedral put on a captivating performance of Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols in aid of the Wells Cathedral Chorister Trust. The concert was attended by several hundred people who filled the Nave, and ended with a standing ovation for the performers.
Many happy returns HRH the Duchess of Kent
Wishing Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Kent very many happy returns on her 90th Birthday. Her Royal Highness has been CSA Patron since 1990. Her first public appearance for CSA was for a special BBC Songs of Praise when more than 800 choristers from 11 Northern choir schools travelled to Lichfield Cathedral.

CSA Conference 2023
The CSA Conference 2023 will take place at The King’s School, Worcester on 9th and 10th May 2023. This year’s theme is ‘3 Choirs’, in reference to the internationally famous 3 Choirs Festival, which has run in Worcester, Gloucester or Hereford Cathedrals for over 300 years.
The Pilgrims’ School appoints new Head
Mr Tim Butcher has been announced as the next Head of The Pilgrims’ School, taking up his new post in September 2023.
