Partnership programme

Rachel Smith has been a key player in Exeter Cathedral’s partnership work for many years. She started Devon County Junior Choir in 2007 with a senior choir following in 2012. Both stopped last March but Rachel resports that children came back gradually last term. She is Head of junior music at The Maynard School and is doubling up school and choir initiatives. She has moved to some online resources including Friday Afternoons which includes some good material. Her Saturday sessions are getting positive feedback from children and parents.

Andrew Downton (Exeter Cathedral School) usually works with 8 local schools a term. The team are working closely with the Devon & Torbay Hub to put together suitable resources and are reaching more schools in the County.
