Partnership programme

The School set up a Saturday Music College for students from any school, including a number of local primary schools, to take instrumental/singing lessons or engage in other musical groups and activities

A Giant Music Day aimed to give students from state schools in the area an opportunity to play and sing together. This annual event was very popular pre-COVID so here’s hoping it will be back on the menu very soon!   Making use of the school’s excellent facilities, the day involved a series of sectional and whole orchestral and Choral rehearsals with senior RGS Music students and staff. This culminated in a concert which parents of the participants attended. Over 100 children took part and it proved a great way to end the academic year reaching out in to the community.

Fingers crossed the team will be action again soon!
