The Association represents 44 schools attached to cathedrals, churches and college chapels in Great Britain and elsewhere.

CSA supports and promotes choral music in the Christian tradition

Promotes the values of choir school education, supporting choir schools and their heads

Promotes singing locally, nationally and internationally

Many CSA members are fee-paying independent schools. However, CSA also has some of the finest state schools in England in membership, as well as a number of cathedrals and churches without choir schools.

CSA was founded in 1918 but represents school foundations dating back many centuries.
